The uterus is the temple of women's creativity. The position of the uterus reflects how a woman presents herself as a mother and a wife. Weaknesses, violations of oneself and the opposite sex, claims against the current situation.

Endometriosis from the point of view of Ayurveda

Doctors describe endometriosis as the abnormal growth of active endometrial tissue outside the uterus. It is often a painful disorder in which tissue similar to the tissue that normally lines the inside of the uterus, the endometrium — grows outside the uterus.

Endometriosis most commonly involves the ovaries, fallopian tubes and the tissue lining your pelvis. Rarely, endometrial tissue may be located outside the area where the pelvic organs are. The hormonal changes in the menstrual cycle affect the tissues of the lining of the uterus that are misplaced.

According to Ayurveda, excessive physical and mental exertion leads to Vata imbalance, which leads to endometriosis. Both physical and mental factors are responsible for vascular exacerbations. In the treatment of endometriosis, where the root causes are vascular exacerbations, one must identify the factors that cause vascular exacerbations and eliminate them.

Apana vata is a subtype of Vata dosha which is responsible for the elimination of urine and menstrual blood, flatulence, and childbirth. In the treatment of endometriosis, the root causes of that condition are Vata exacerbation factors.

How Ayurvedic doctors treat endometriosis

The Ayurvedic treatment of endometriosis includes Panchakarma procedures to balance Vata dosha. Enemas such as Vasti Chikitsa, and Uttara Vasti are effective in treatment of endometriosis. Ayurvedic doctors prescribe oral medications for endometriosis too.

Our qualified Ayurvedic doctor will advise suitable treatment according to the condition of the individual. The treatment will ensure a balanced fire in the digestive system with a balanced downward movement of Vata.
