Pregnancy toxicosis from the point of view of Ayurveda

Pregnancy toxicosis is as old as pregnancy itself. It is relatively common and is associated with other early classic signs of pregnancy. Toxicosis is a health condition of a pregnant woman that results from poisoning the body with harmful substances. Toxic substances are formed in the mother's body as a result of fetal development in the uterus.

Various complaints characterize this pregnancy condition, and the most common are: nausea, vomiting, metabolic, circulatory and central nervous system disorders. These issues usually appear in pregnant women during the first trimester of pregnancy, but some complaints may persist during pregnancy at the latest and persist until the end of pregnancy. When a baby is born, all symptoms disappear.

Milk is a lunar product, so it is best to drink it from 19 to 7 in the morning. In the evening before bedtime, drink a glass of hot, sweet milk, you will feel relaxed and calm, and at night you will sleep more peacefully.

According to Ayurveda, for the treatment of toxicosis women should eat sweet foods as it calms them. Doctors recommend eating sweet dishes in the morning, such as candy, sherbet, oriental sweets, sweet milk, honey.
Water softens emotions and other acute matters at home and in relationships. Get out of bed and take a shower. In the morning, it is advisable to finish rinsing with a little more cold water than you like.

Ayurvedic tips for elimination of pregnancy toxicosis symptoms

  • Eat simple, healthy food
  • In the morning, before getting out of bed, eat a biscuit or a cookie
  • When you feel nauseous, eat a little
  • Do not drink water with a meal, even if you are nauseous
  • Avoid specific odors and aromas
  • Stay outdoors for at least an hour every day
  • Reduce work / study load
  • Sleep at least eight hours each night and, if possible, take a nap during the day
  • Hot milk gives peace and promotes good sleep. You can make a great drink from banana syrup or mango nectar drink
  • Peace and balance are important during pregnancy
