Bronchitis
In Ayurveda, bronchitis is known as Shwasa Pranali
Shoth. Bronchitis is a condition in which there is acute inflammation of the
trachea and bronchi of the lungs, resulting in the accumulation and discharge
of phlegm or sputum.
Bronchitis generally results in the accumulation and
discharge of phlegm or sputum, as this disease is more prone to cold and humid
climates.
Bronchitis can be acute or chronic. Treatment of bronchitis
can vary depending on the type of disease. Acute bronchitis is short-lived and
treatment may take a few weeks, while treatment for chronic bronchitis may take
a little longer.
